Showers that match your service areas

Truck drivers, travellers, families: your showers run day and night, all year round. EDDO helps you control their cost, guarantee their availability and monitor their use, site by site.

Your challenges

  • Consumption that is hard to contain. On a busy service area, a few extra minutes per shower add up to cubic metres of hot water every month.
  • Heavily used equipment. Intensive use and exposure to vandalism: robustness is not optional.
  • Queues at the washrooms. Showers that run too long mean longer queues and unhappy users.
  • Several sites to manage. Major motorway service area networks need figures they can compare from one site to another.

The EDDO answer

  • The water really stops. The water supply is controlled by a solenoid valve: once the allotted time is up, the shower stops. A conventional mechanical timer simply restarts with another push.
  • Built to resist vandalism. Tamper-proof fixings and protected exposed parts, developed from field feedback on sites in service.
  • Users made aware. A light changes colour as the shower goes on: everyone sees the time passing.
  • Remote monitoring. Volumes used, number of showers, average time, peak hours: each site sends its data to your customer area.
  • Fitted to existing equipment. EDDO works with standard shower columns, including Prestotem Série 2, without major work.
  • Made in France, with stock available. Development, testing and manufacturing take place in our workshops in Lambesc: fast deliveries and spare parts.

Already trusted

Stations belonging to major motorway service area networks are already equipped with EDDO showers. Their managers report higher user satisfaction and shorter queues at the washrooms.

Potential across the network

The French toll motorway network has 366 service areas (source: ASFA, 2025). Whether you run one station or a whole network, we build a gradual roll-out with you: pilot site, measured results, then wider deployment.
