A two-minute shower with soap before swimming is enough to greatly limit organic pollution in pools. eddo.pool makes it mandatory, or encourages it, as you choose.
Two operating modes
| Mode | How | For |
|---|---|---|
| Mandatory shower | Contactless wristband, minimum shower time, gate to the footbath | Facilities aiming for the highest shower rate |
| Incentive shower | No wristband or gate, awareness by screen | Facilities that favour education |
How it works (mandatory mode)
- The swimmer starts the shower with their wristband.
- The light turns from red to orange, then green once the minimum time is reached.
- The wristband opens the gate before the footbath. No shower, no access to the pool.
- After swimming, the light works the other way round to encourage a shorter shower.
The awareness screen
An e-ink screen shows in real time the time spent in the shower or the water used, along with your messages: slideshows, scheduling, scenarios depending on shower length. You manage the content from the web platform.
Key benefits
- Compatible with your access control and changing rooms.
- Less fresh water to add to the pool, less energy and fewer treatment products.
- Monitoring of consumption and attendance, shower by shower.
